About Me:
I am a music lover. Since I was very young, music has affected my life - transforming me into the person I am today. From the earliest days of learning how to use a turntable to clumbsily plucking out the chords to Eleanor Rigby on a student size acoustic guitar, I have always known I wanted to create music.
A lot of what I do today is reflected in those first few moments of musical revelation - I am in constant awe and wonder of where melody can take us. I love to experiment to create new sonic landscapes of sound, and I adore hearing each and every different kind of music for what it is.
Everything from Godspeed You! Black Emperor to Blink-182; Woody Guthrie to Tool; Johnny Cash to Aphex Twin; Merzbow to The Who; Stravinsky to Kanye West; NWA to Ray Charles. You get the idea. I never shut my ears off. I love it all.
I work on creating music of my own - I have been a musician for eight or so years now. Creating acoustic folk with Borderline Angelic (www.virb.com/borderlineangelic), indie pop rock with Sudden Epidemic (www.myspace.com/suddenepidemic), and experimental orchestral electronica with Pareidolia (www.myspace.com/pareidoliaor).
I am currently trying to create a full-length full band album with Borderline Angelic; it's always just been me recording acoustic guitar and vocals directly into my computer. I want to share my music with new musicians and new listeners, and recreate my ideas in a completely new atmosphere. I've never been more ready to do so in my life, but my wallet seems to disagree.
I'm hoping people will hear my music and want to help me take it to the next level. I have a ChipIn widget included in a blog entitled “Help Borderline Angelic!” for people who might be interested in sponsoring the creation of this album. Any donation at all would be incredibly appreciated, or even just some words of encouragement. Thank you, in advance.
I will get some of my home recorded Borderline Angelic work up as soon as I can figure out how to work it. Thank you!
